Lydiard Park, Swindon

The restoration of Lydiard Park has been a long held ambition of Swindon Borough Council and the people of Swindon.  With its Palladian house, medieval park, lost lake, unique castellated dam wall and fabulous walled flower garden, Lydiard is the Borough’s greatest heritage park.  However, restoration of the park has regenerated more than a historic landscape.

The project has attracted significant business partners including RWE npower, BMW, MAN ERF and Intel.  Business and community volunteers have generated over two thousand days of active involvement.  And the park now boasts a great new play area and several miles of parkland walks and avenues.  We are proud that, with our project team specialists, we have helped to restore the beauty, life and reputation of this exemplary park.
